sulcata/galapagos tortoise

Hi I wonder if you can help, i am not sure if my tortoise is a sulcata or one from the galapogos islands, can you tell me the difference in the two please.

Sulcata And Galapagos Differences

A photo would certainly have helped.

One obvious difference is that the sulcata is a spur-thighed tortoise, which means it will have spurs on it's back thighs. The galapagos tortoise will have no such spurs.

There are other difference, of course. If you do a google image search for the two breeds, you can see which photos look most like your tortoise.
