Sun exposure

hellow everybody. I'm a new res turtle owner, i live in a dormitory. I'm giving my res one hour sun exposure everyday before i go to my school.. after that i return him on the aquarium which has only a ordinary study lamp on it. Am i doing fine? or one hour is still not enough everyday? please i really appreciate if you help. thank you

Sun Exposure for RES Turtle

Your turtle needs about 10-12 hours of sunlight per day. One hour is not nearly enough. So you will need a UVB light to keep this animal healthy.
