my terrapin girl keeps following my male turtle around the tank putting her hands over her head and shaking them at him why is she doing this ive had them both together for nearly a year and its the first time she has ever done this should i worry

mating?

When a turtle shakes its front claws in front of another turtle, it's usually mating behavior, but it's usually the male who does the shaking. Are you sure you have have a female?
