Tortoises all take a lot of care if you want to care for them properly, get a book on both of them and see what is easier for your climate as well as your area that the Tortoise will live. Make sure you have both the time, space and money for the care of any Tortoise you choose. The Russian Tortoise might be your best choice. They stay small, are very hardy, full of personality, and do not need a huge area to live in..Good luck and pls do a lot of research before you choose.
