tortoise had a fall?!?

hi, i was just sitting at the computer with my 2 year old hermann tortoise on my knee. then she rolled off and landed on her back. i picked her up and can see no external damage. she seems happy but is she injured internally? i am just checking!

There is no way to tell from reading your story. All you can do is observe your pet closely for the next few days. An x-ray could tell if there are any broken bones. Soft tissue damage is something you'll have to discover by observing behavior.

If there is any change in behavior over the next day or two, take your pet into a vet asap, giving as much information as you can about the events.
