Tortoise Home Environment

I recently bought a reptile tank for my Russian Tortoise at Petco. I was just wondering if the tortoise would be very sensitive to noises from the TV or the cuckoo clock. It sounds every 30 minutes and I was wondering whether it would wake the tortoise up from sleeping? It's tank is very near the clock.
