Tortoise Home Environment

I recently bought a reptile tank for my Russian Tortoise at Petco. I was just wondering if the tortoise would be very sensitive to noises from the TV or the cuckoo clock. It sounds every 30 minutes and I was wondering whether it would wake the tortoise up from sleeping? It's tank is very near the clock.

Glass tanks can overheat a tort, I'd use a high sided tort table instead for good air flow. Have a heat lamp on one side and a cool side, plenty of water in a shallow bowl, a hide because they like it, sudden noises startle a tort, but I don't think the TV would bother it much
