Tortoise on back

I came home and found my tortoise on her back in her pool of water. She has never done this before. I have no idea how long she was there, but she had soiled the water. I picked her up immediately. She is walking and moving around. Could she be hurt or is she okay. I am new to reptiles. Thanks.
