Tortoise with bad eyes

I think my tortoise has something wrong I bought him less than 24 hours ago can I take him back to pet / reptile shop and get my money back as didn't expect to pay all that money to have a sick tortoise in a day please help don't know where I stand . Also I have bathed his eyes to try and help him .

First of all, I don't know the either the laws governing retail sales where you live or the policies of the store you shopped at, so I can't say where you stand there.

As far as the animal is concerned, it's always a good policy to have a new pet checked by a vet as soon as possible. In this case, it's even more important. Eye problems in a turtle or tortoise are serious because these animals use vision to find food and infections in one area can spread to other areas in the body.

A vet will tell you how much intervention is required and whether or not there are other medical issues you have to deal with. Eye problems do not tend to right themselves, so do get help as soon as possible.

Keep it slow and steady.
