tortoise won't open his eyes

I have just taken my tortoise out of hibernation and he won't open his eyes. Also can you give me some tips about what to do after hibernation - I'm rather new to this!

After Hibernation

Be sure your tortoise has a good soak in warm water as soon as possible.
If the eyes don't open within hours, see a vet. Eye problems are very serious and you will want to tend to them as soon as possible.
Keep it slow and steady.
