Turtle Energy

Ever since I've had my turtle, he never moves, he just sits in the water. If I put him in deep water he'll swim, but other than that he never moves. My sister's turtle(we keep in a different tank) walks and crawls rapidly. is there anything I can do to hype up my turtle and get him to be energized? Thank you.

Some animals are just more active than others.

But it might be that your turtle needs something changed in the habitat. For example, does he have enough UVA and UVB light? What about places to go and things to do?
