Shell Damage
by: Shelly

There are two problems here.

1. The injury: For this, you should see a vet. If there is bleeding, there may be internal injuries.

2. The soft shell: This is a serious condition. Your turtle does not have enough calcium. That could be because you are not providing that in the diet or because you are not providing UVB light. Without the light, the turtle cannot absorb the calcium.

So do see a vet and change the habitat or the diet to correct the shell problem.

Keep it slow and steady.
