Turtle Noises

My son has a Eastern long neck turtle and l'm guessing it's about 2 years old. He is a male and has recently started to make soft moaning noises, he doesn't do it all the time though.

His appetite has slowed a down a little bit but l put that down to winter just being around the corner.
Any information would be greatly appreciated as l'm concerned that he may be ill or in some kind of pain.

Same issue

I'm wondering if it's the same noise. I have an Eastern Long Neck, not sure if male or female, have had 'him' for almost 3 yrs now, and still very small. But the last 6 months or so he squeaks. It isn't a long or loud sound, but can be quite repetitive. Can't seem to get any info. And no one in my country town or surrounds knows anything much about turtles.
