Can a painter turtle regrow its webbed claw feet if another fish eats them off?

My money is on "No"

If only turtles were like plants and could just grow another appendage when one breaks off!
I've seen many stories like this one:

So I'm guessing that once it's gone, the leg or foot won't grow back and some kind of adaptation similar to the one that this turtle went through would be necessary.
