Weight

Hello,

We recently aquired a captive bred 6-8 month old three toed box turtle. He did not eat for the first week. He did finaly start eating a little bit and the past week he's been going to town on earthworms and mealworms. He has gained 3 grams in 4 days! Is there some kind of weight scale for three toed box turtles we can go by to make sure hs is not gaining too fast?
