HELP ME, i am due to go on holiday mid January and i don't know were to take my tortoise, non of my family will look after it!! is there a place i can take it to to be looked after for 2weeks?

Turtle Boarding by: Louise
Some vets will board your turtles. Also try an internet search for REPTILE BOARDING. Some cities have turtle or tortoise clubs where you can meet others with turtles who can give you more info although that might take longer. Also you can do a search for PET SITTERS. I'm sure there are some with great references you could call who are also bonded. However, I've never used one.....I'm not sure that I would leave my animals with a stranger

Thanx's for the reply i didn't really want a specific place i just wanted to sort of know what the place is called you take them. (e.g: cats-cattery Dogs-Kennel) no of my friends or family will look after them for me!

I'm sorry that I can't give you a specific place.
Have you tried looking for tortoise rescue agencies in your area? They may have suggestions.
