Hi, an eye infection

I've a pair of Indian Star of my pal. Since the time they r with me they have only tomatoes. Suddenly I've noticed an eye infection in female's eyes. The male is of 2yrs & female is of 6 months.

A Good Indian Star Tortoise Diet

I don't know if the diet is the cause of the eye infection, but a diet of only tomatoes is not good for a tortoise.

An Indian Star tortoise needs lots of fiber. That means grass and leafy greens. Cactus pads are also good if you take off the spines.

Fruit is not good for an Indian Star tortoise. Tomato is a fruit.

Please see a vet to take care of the eye infection. Infections can pass from one animal to another.

Keep it slow and steady.
