head stuck
by: Chris Freeman

My Russian occasionally gets her head stuck, too. Every now and then I'll see frantically clawing with all her legs out, but not her head. Then after a few minutes of that, I'll hear a pop sound as her head finally gets unstuck. It's scary and I don't know any way to help. But so far it hasn't lasted more than a few minutes.

head in shell

I've never heard of a tortoises head getting stuck in its shell. If its scared it will tuck its legs and headinto its shell naturally. Put you tort ino the warm sunshine and give it a little space and watch it carefully, after awhile it will come out of its shell naturally.
