it depends on the type of tortoise u have (remember there r about 250 different types)
but most live between 50-200 years depending on how well there looked after they very very rarely make it to 200 when there kept as pets cause we can't give them everything mother nature can

Tortoises live a long time, but each kind of tortoise has its own life expectancy. It's not where it lives, but what sort of tortoise you're talking about that determines life expectancy (within reason, of course).
