Which kind of tortoise is this?

I just adopted/rescued a tortoise and I and trying to do research on her but I am not sure what kind she is? And what kinds of food to feed her?

I just got a tortoise that looks just like that! He is about 8 pounds, and the prev. owner told me that it was a desert tortoise..... looked them up and they look nothing like mine!
So, thank you! now i know what he is :)

Hi, we found this tortoise by the river and am curious as to what type he is. Also, any suggestions on how to take care of it...diet, temperature, etc?

 It's a Sulcata Tortoise

Hi,
You most definately have a Sulcata (Geochelone Sulcata) tortoise also known as an African spurred tortoise.

Please be advised that your tortoise is the third largest in the world and can get to be 150-200 lbs.
