White film around Red Ear slider turtle

My Red ear water turtle has white film around his mouth.. the past few days he hasn't been swimming much, just basking on his rock and worst of it all he isn't eating.. What do I do? what could be the problem?

Sick turtle

I can't say for sure what's wrong, but you are describing a sick pet. I would take it to a vet. If you can't do that, see if there is a turtle rescue center that can care for him.

(I'm assuming you have had this animal for some time and the behavior is new. If not, be sure you have enough heat and UVB light.)
