my tortoise cant walk and dosnt lift himself up off his shell he just seems to drag it with him also if he dose walk a few steps he will just stop and go to sleep is this normal?
Take your tortoise to the vet. The vet and see the symptoms and can ask you important questions.

This could be MBD by: The Greek Tortoise Guild
Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD) has numerous symptoms and I heard that this one of them. I would recommend taking him to a veterinarian that specializes in reptiles to see if he has MBD. Even if you don't think he has this debilitating disease, there is something wrong here and your vet will be able to better help you know what it is than anyone on a blog.
